Sentinels
Manufacturer: Braddock Industries The Sentinels were the mechanical arm of the human resistance. These androids, manufactured by Brian Braddacok of Braddock Industries and the Human High Council, were created expressly for the purpose of hunting, capturing, and in some cases killing mutants in order to protect the human populace. They were equipped with mutant-tracking sensors, lasers, catchwebs, disintegrator beams and other various and deadly weapons. In addition, Sentinels were self-adapting, learning and modifying themselves after every encounter they had. Sentinels were often seen in the Age of Apocalypse patrolling North America where they were able to accurately scan any area for mutants save for the Angel's night club Heaven, which was invisible to their sensors either by means of genetic scramblers or a deal with the Coucil. A Sentinel was also used by Weapon X and Jean Grey during their sabotage of the Mid-Atlantic Sea Wall. This would pave way for the greatest accomplishment made by the Sentinels, the Great Sentinel Evacuation of North America from Maine to Europe. The robots were able to carry over hundreds of refugees to relative safety. |
