Quietus is the Foreman for Holocaust's Seattle Core. He was taken out by the Generation Next who came to rescue the chrono-variant mutant Illyana Rasputin. Though he was able to discover the undercover X-Man Husk, he became cocky while physically questioning her and drank what was in the container she had brought with her, despite her cries against any such action. The contents of the flask was not actually something consumable, but was her teammate Vincente who was hiding in a liquid form. Vincente was able to kill Quietus internally.

It is unknown what Quietus mutant power was, although it may have been an immunity or invulnerability to toxins or something of that sort. He kept with him a contraption he called a vaporizer that makes most virtually all mutants except himself violently sick, this was how he was able to identify Husk as a turncoat.
