Phantazia was able to sense, generate and manipulate electromagnetic fields, allowing her to paralyze others and disrupt their metahuman abilities. She can also feel and alter electrical currents, create a cloaking field that renders her invisible, disable electronic devices, and generate an anti-gravity field enabling her to fly.

Phantazia was one of a handful of mutants attempting to escape from Sinister's Breeding Pens. They were eventually stopped by the Elite Mutant Force patrolling Manhattan Island. Phantazia was both physically and mentally weak with nothing inside of her and fell at Aurora's feet without putting up a fight. She was caught and delivered to the Beast who added her to a vat of genetic material to produce more Infinites.
