Nanny is a robotic French maid charged with the care of Charles Lensherr, the son of the X-Men's leader Magneto and his wife Rogue. When Nanny detected a Security Parameter Breech and initiated Defcon: Armageddon, she alerted Magneto and Bishop that Apocalypse was coming. While Magneto and Bishop battled Apocalypse, Nanny attempted to escape with baby Charles through the Morlock Tunnels. They were chased by the Vanisher who was ordered by Apocalypse to retrieve Magneto's child. Though Nanny was able to defeat the Vanisher with close-range plasma precision fire, she was later smashed by Guido Carosella who betrayed the X-Ternals and did not want her leading Jubilee to the X-Men's headquarters in Westchester.
