Years ago, a mutant named Apocalypse conquered America. As homo sapien superior rose from the rubble, humans were left crushed by their climb to power. A few, the lucky, managed to flee. The rest remained trapped by a destiny they couldn't quite understand, fodder for the work camps and breeding pens of the new world order.
