Magma
Real Name: Allison Crestmere Affiliation: Apocalypse Height: 5'6" Weight: 124 lbs. Eyes: Brown Hair: Blonde Status: Deceased (Weapon X) Magma is a mutant who can psionically control the movement of the tectonic plates within the Earth's crust within limited areas, cause magma, or molten rock, from far beneath Earth's surface to rise to and break through the surface, forming miniature volcanoes, telekinetically project fiery blasts of magma, and create flames and project blasts of heat that do not contain any molten rock. Magma is believed to be able to generate a level of heat of up to 850° Fahrenheit. Her powers are dependent upon her contact with the Earth and are linked to her emotions. During a meeting of the Human High Council at their base of operations to discuss an attack on North America, Magma made an unexpected appearance as part of a pre-emptive strike ordered by Apocalypse. Upon entry, she made an attempt on the life of Brian Braddock, but was immediately taken out from behind by Weapon X before she could bring harm to anyone else. In our reality, Allison Crestmere was believed to be the daughter of the First Senator of Nove Roma, a hidden city in the Amazon jungles of Brazil, and she was a member of the New Mutants under the code-name Magma. She left the New Mutants to join the Hellions based on her crush on the mutant known as Empath. A few months later, Magma received a letter from her father who ordered her home to meet with a Prince that he had arranged for her to marry. She was accompanied on her flight to Nova Roma by Empath and the two found themselves being drawn closer together. It was later reveleased that she was a mutant of British descent and Magma decided to leave Empath to search for her family in England. |
