Stacy, Gwen
Real Name: Gwendolyne Stacy Affiliation: Human High Council Height: 5'7" Weight: 130 lbs. Eyes: Blue Hair: Blonde Status: Escaped Gwen was dying alone in a lonely jungle when she was first discovered by Donald Blake who nursed her through a deadly fever just in time for her to rescue him from a mutant abush. Both were unable to return to their quarantined homes in the former United States, so they found salvation in eachother at the dawn of the new age, ever traveling and offering their services where needed most, unrecognized by the world at large. The couple was in Wakanda, rationing off supplies to the locals when an unexpected visit from Anthony Stark prompted a trip to London. They had been selected as one of the few representatives of the Human High Council chosen to board Mikhail Rasputin's mothership where she and the rest of the assembly was kidnapped. While Blake escaped to warn the Council of Mikhail's treason, Gwen stayed aboard the mothership and helped delay the Thing long enough for Stark to breach the mothership's security shields. After taking control of the ship, Stark would pilot the ship and its human survivors in the greatest escape of them all. Though Gwen survived the Age of Apocalypse, her counterpart, Dr. Donald Blake would not, sacrificing himself to rid the world of Mikhail's presence. In our reality, Gwen was deeply in love with Peter Parker, otherwise known as Spider-man. She was kidnapped by the Green Goblin who knew that Peter Parker was Spider-Man and used her as a hostage against his longtime foe. Gwen fell into a state of shock and was apparently unaware of all the events following her capture by the Goblin. The Green Goblin brought the unconscious Gwen to the top of the George Washington Bridge, where he fought Spider-Man, who was desperately intent on rescuing the woman he loved. Finally, riding his flying goblin glider, the Goblin knocked Gwen off the top of the bridge. Though Spider-Man caught her with his webbing before she hit the water, the shock of the fall itself had already killed her. |
