Exodus
Real Name: Bennet du Paris Affiliation: Amazing X-Men Height: 6'0" Weight: 195 lbs. Eyes: Blue Hair: Black Status: Missing (Presumed Dead) Exodus is a mutant who possesses vast psionic powers. As of now he has shown the ability to telekinetically lift at least 10 tons of weight, incredible telepathic powers, project damaging psionic blasts, the ability to siphon energy, and teleportation. Little is known about the early life of Bennet du Paris prior to his affiliation with the X-Men. He was captured and tortured by the Madri until he was finally liberated by Magneto who would act as a father figure in his life. Over the course of time, he began a romantic relationship with his teammate Dazzler. When the X-Men's assistance was needed in the Sentinel Evacuation of North America, it was Exodus that transported the team to Maine in the first use of his powers of teleportation. There, the X-Men encountered the Brotherhood who reprogrammed the Sentinels to target the X-Men. While his other teammates were occupied with the protection of the humans and members of the Brotherhood Copycat and Box who had broken off from the pack, Paris hunted down the remaining members Arclight, Spyne, and Yeti. After the successful evacuation, he and Dazzler were charged with the location of Nanny and Charles Lensherr, Quicksilver's brother, when they learned he had gone missing. The two of them were able to locate the remnants of Nanny in the Morlock Tunnels, but were unable to retrieve Charles. Instead, they found Gambit, Lila Cheney, and Jubilee. Months later, Exodus was sent on a secret mission along with Wild Child, Iceman, and Morph. They have not been heard from since. Dazzler has tried to move on with her life but she secretly waits for Exodus' return, hoping he is somehow still alive. In our reality, Bennet du Paris was found by Magneto and brought to his base on Avalon. He replaced the turncoat Fabian Cortez as his lieutenant of the Acolytes. When Charles Xavier wiped Magneto's mind clean in an attack by the X-Men on Avalon, Exodus took command of the Acolytes. Soon afterward Fabian Cortez resurfaced in Genosha, where he had taken Magneto's granddaughter Luna hostage. Exodus encountered and defeated Cortez in the sewers underneath Hammer Bay, the capital city of Genosha. |
