Real Name: Marius St. Croix Affiliation: Elite Mutant Force Height: 6'3" Weight: Unknown Eyes: Black Hair: None Relations: Claudette St. Croix, Nicole St. Croix, Relations: Know-It-All (Sisters) Status: Deceased (Christopher Summers) Emplate is a mutant able to feed on bone marrow in order. If he sups on the bone marrow of a mutant, he is also able to absorb the powers of the mutant for an extended period of time. Marius, his sisters the Monets, and the twins Aurora and Northstar were dispatched by Sinister to search for Christopher Summers, a renegade captive of the Breeding Pens that had escaped. They discovered the corpse of Joe Robertson while tracking down Summers and found him to not be far from the body. Summers killed Emplate when he was discovered and his death traumatized his two younger twin sisters. In our reality, Marius St. Croix powers manifested and threw him into a pocket dimension where he discovered that he could return to Earth by feeding on the marrow of mutants. During this time, Emplate found the mutant known as Penance, captured her, and used her as his primary source of sustenance. Due to extensive physical damage that Emplate has suffered while in the pocket dimension, he is unable to survive on Earth without the use of a respirator. The length of time on Earth that Emplate can survive without a respirator is unknown. In an effort to gain power, Emplate intercepted the mutant Chamber as he was arriving in the United States. Emplate was stopped by Chamber and the members of the mutant team Generation X. |
