Moonstar, Dana
Real Name: Dana Moonstar
Affiliation: Morlocks
Eyes: Dark Brown
Hair: Black
Relations: Moonstar (Sister)
Status: Alive (Incarcerated)

Dana Moonstar is a mutant who appeared to have the same superhuman psionic power as her sister, to project three-dimensional images of certain visual concepts derived from within the minds of herself and others, usually either a person's greater fear or desire, that can become tangible entities of psionic force. The three-dimensional images that Dana causes to appear are similar to holograms, although they are created by psionic energy rather than by lasers, and can be seen by anyone in their vicinity. However, only the people from whom Dana derives the images will perceive them as "real," indistinguishable from the real persons or objects they portray. To other people, they are recognizable as illusions. Dana is also able to use her power to generate a psionic bow and arrow which penetrates the mind of her victim and knocks them unconsciousness or dredges up their greatest fear.

When a trail of escaped mutants from the Breeding Pens lead the X-Men underground, they encountered a group of scared, orphaned children called the Morlocks. They offered to help bring them out of hiding in the sewers, but the Morlocks lashed out at them for fear of being locked up and thrown back into cages by the X-Men, now mutant hunting officers of the newly restored human government. When Storm began striking down members of the Morlocks with bolts of lightning, Dana Moonstar and a handful of others were protected by Skids who projected a force field around them. One of those bolts bounced off of the shield and hit the X-Men's leader Magneto instead. While he lay helpless, Dana peered into his mind to seeking to find what he feared above all else. What she saw was a visage of the maniacal despot Apocalypse engulfed in flames from a fiery Phoenix. With their leader incapacitated, the X-Men strengthened their resolve and would emerge victorious. Afterwards, the Morlocks were brought back to the Xavier Institute where they were detained.

In our reality, there is no known equivalent for Dana Moonstar.
