Damask
Real Name: Steed (First Name Unknown)
Affiliation: Pale Riders (Former), X-Calibre
Eyes: Green
Hair: Black
Status: Alive (Searching for Mystique)

Damask has the ability to psychically skin the layers of a person's brain, using psionic projections that look like long blades. This form of telepathy can be very painful for the victim.

She was the leader of a group of Apocalypse's assassins known as the Pale Riders. After learning of Nightcrawler's journey to Avalon, Apocalypse sent the Pale Riders to locate the place for future reference. En route to Avalon, Apocalypse had a change of heart and decided he wanted Avalon to burn to the ground instead. During the trip, Damask killed the Pale Rider Danielle Moonstar for her own personal amusement. However, when she set foot on Avalon, its beauty overwhelmed her and she changed her sadistic ways. She defected to sides with Nightcrawler and chose to defend Avalon against Apocalypse's reinforcements.

When the Shadow King took possession of Nightcrawler's mother Mystique, Nightcrawler teleported Damask and the mutant known as Switchback to an adjacent dimension. There, Switchback shunt them back in time and Damask was able to take the Shadow King out of comission before he came to occupy Mystique. Damask was last seen in Avalon and her current whereabouts are unknown. During the X-Men's raid on Apocalypse's Citadel, Mystique used the confusion of the battle to disappear. Since then, Damask and Switchback have been helping him search the world for Mystique and recently reunited with Nightcrawler to report their findings before Kurt was called back the X-Men to help him repair the damage done to the world by Apocalypse.

In our reality, Damask was the Black Queen of the London Hellfire Club at one point in time.
